Our company owner, James Pratten, founded the business in Bath in 2015.
Bath stone is a much-loved architectural building material because it is versatile, easily carved, and a “freestone” – which means it can be cut in any direction. It is also fine-grained and beautifully coloured with a creamy honey hue.
Unfortunately, while it is durable, Bath stone is porous and therefore susceptible to weathering, pollution and biological growth, which over time can mar its good looks and affect its structural integrity.
